Intro:

The notecard format would force me to lean into the sincere (yet paradoxical) rather than the poetic (yet vague) or specific (yet dry). A fun thought experiment to kill time during an Uber. Here we go.

Notecard:

  • Meaning is overrated. Developing a taste for one’s own experience is more important than a framework that tries to explain it all. 

  • Not wanting something is better than having it. 

  • We underestimate our ability to adapt; we overestimate our ability to change.

  • The mystery of existence is in abundance everywhere. 

  • Happiness will find you; you don’t have to chase it.

  • Peace is only found when the search is given up.
